Chairman's Message

Intermountain Electronics, Inc. is a privately held Utah based Corporation servicing the electrical needs of customers throughout the world. We have multiple locations to meet regional needs: Headquarters, Sales, and Manufacturing in Price, Utah; Sales and Manufacturing in Mount Vernon, Illinois and Ashland, Kentucky; Sales and Service in Grand Junction, Colorado, Henderson, Kentucky, and Washington Pennsylvania; and Sales in California and Tennessee. We have designed and manufactured equipment for such diverse areas as California's Mojave Desert, the Andes Mountains in Chili, the jungles of Nicaragua, the high desert and mountains of the Rocky Mountain Region, and the high humidity lowlands of Alabama and Louisiana. We manufacture, repair, and service electrical distribution and control equipment for use in harsh environments such as those encountered in underground and surface mining, oil and gas generation and refineries, power generation, mills and refineries, and various manufacturing plants. We have successfully used this expertise for applications in other industries as well.

Our engineering, sales, and manufacturing staffs have many years of experience in the design, installation and maintenance of this type of equipment. We understand and appreciate the realities facing those who are responsible for maintaining and operating mining and other industrial facilities. We listen to the customer to ensure that the finished product is truly what is desired and have the practical experience to assist in the design efforts if needed. Customized arrangements are welcome and do not generally increase delivery times.

Additionally, Intermountain Electronics is the authorized distributor, representative or service facility for a number of other manufacturers. We stock or can identify and locate many types of electrical or electronic components and equipment at very competitive prices. Our knowledgeable personnel can frequently assist with those difficult or unique projects that the average supplier or repair facility cannot.

Intermountain Electronics is strategically located in the center of the Interior Western Mining Region. The Price, Utah facility is within a few hours of most major mining operations in the Rocky Mountain area and also services the Powder River Basin Coal Fields of eastern Wyoming and Montana. Price has 125,000 square feet of design and manufacturing space located on 17 acres of industrially zoned property. Our facility in Ashland, Kentucky has 110,000 square feet of manufacturing space (complete Q2 2010) and services the Eastern Appalachian Coal Fields. Our newest manufacturing plant in Mount Vernon, Illinois (open Q2 2010) will service the Midwest Illinois Basin Coal Fields.
