Emissions Control Technology

All fuel-burning engines produce exhaust containing carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, and nitrogen oxides. Whether you use diesel, bio-diesel, gasoline, propane or natural gas, you are emitting some level of toxic pollutants. This is due to the incomplete burning of fuel typical of an internal combustion engine. The unused fuel is released through the exhaust as pollutants. Plus, diesel engines also produce fine particle pollution, which recent studies have indicated is a serious public health threat. To comply with EPA Tier 4 Regulations, non-road diesel engines may need to be retrofitted with diesel particulate filters (DPF), diesel oxidation catalysts (DOC), or oxidation catalysts (OC).

As an industry leader in providing custom-built generator sets in the  mining industry,
Intermountain Electronics has been frequently asked for solutions to the emissions produced by those generators. To provide the proven Emission Control Technology needed, Intermountain Electronics has teamed with CleanAIR Systems Inc. to help customers comply with emission regulations. CleanAIR has been a trusted leader in the field of air pollution control since 1993.

Intermountain Electronics will fit your internal combustion engines or power generation plant with the right system to solve your emissions problem. We can provide advanced emissions control technologies and original-equipment solutions. We can tailor emission control systems to fit the requirements of individual applications while dramatically reducing exhaust emissions of particulate matter (PM), hydrocarbons (HC), carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen oxides (NOx). Whether you need a system for an OEM or a retrofit, Intermountain Electronics has the right emissions control system to fit your vehicle, stationary generator, or power generation plant.
