Variable Frequency Drives

Intermountain Electronics has extensive experience with various VFD installations.  From 30 horse power, 480 volt drives to 2000 horse power, 4160 volt drives, we specialize in multiple drive applications that may or may not require load sharing.

If your application does not require the flexibility and versatility of a VFD, a Soft Start may be the answer to your requirements at a lower cost.  We can incorporate Soft Start units and VFDs together if it satisfies your needs.  Intermountain Electronics has experience with ABB, Allen-Bradley, and Toshiba drives.  For more severe applications, we offer an optional air-air heat exchanger which helps maintain a cleaner atmosphere for the drives.  For harsh environments, we can also provide custom enclosures (see our section on METAL FABRICATION).
