Roderick “Rod” Brown

Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Rod Brown is responsibile for the sales and marketing activies of Intermountan Electronics and is a member of the management team.  Rod has held global senior leadership positions in sales, marketing, engineering, and program management with OEM and Tier 1 companies in North America, Europe, and Asia/Pacific. Included are positions with Caterpillar, Ford Motor Company, Siemens, Delphi, Alps Electric, and Miles Electric Vehicles.

Rod, a certified sales executive, graduated Cum Laude in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Physics and has a Masters of Business Administration in Marketing and Finance and a Masters of Engineering Management with emphasis in Control Systems. He attended the University of Michigan, the University of Detroit and Norfolk State University. He has also participated in executive leadership programs in North America and Europe. Rod speaks conversational German.

Rod served as a board member of Junior Achievement in Southeastern Michigan. He has served as past president and a board member of the Marketing and Sales Executives of Detroit. He is an active member in a number of technical and professional associations.
