Tom Akers

Senior Vice President, Operations

Tom has a general overview responsibility for the company with emphasis in engineering, sales and project management. He earned an Associate of Science degree in Mining Engineering Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from West Virginia Institute of Technology. Tom has been involved in design, installation, maintenance, or manufacturing of industrial electrical equipment and systems since 1974. He worked over twenty years in various engineering and maintenance positions with different mining companies in West Virginia and Utah. He has been with Intermountain Electronics since 1994.
