Intermountain Electronics can design and provide a variety of different types of control systems to meet the simplest to most complex requirements.  Programmable Logic Controls (PLC’s) can be programmed for elaborate control, metering and monitoring applications.  Motor starters using vacuum contactors, solid-state soft starts, auto-transformers, variable frequency drives and more can be custom designed for the most strenuous environments or complex controls.  These systems frequently communicate with each other for an integrated operation.  This communication can utilize a number of different mediums including radio, data highway, fiber optics, etc.  Intermountain Electronics can assist in the conversion of existing communication systems to state-of-the-art fiber optics systems for an entire mine or plant.
